The Hair Lounge is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. Salon Guest Information

  • Appointment information including your name, phone number, email address, the services you book, the stylist you book with, your appointment history, and any notes you or we add to your booking. Our appointment booking is provided by a third-party booking platform, which processes this information on our behalf.
  • Consultation and service records including your hair history, the formulas, colors and products used during your service, and notes recorded by your stylist so that we can reproduce or adjust results at future appointments.
  • Health and sensitivity disclosures that you choose to share with us before a service, such as allergies, sensitivities, scalp or skin conditions, medications, pregnancy, or medical treatments that may affect your hair or scalp. We collect this only so that we can perform your service safely, we keep it to the minimum necessary, we do not sell or share it, and we do not use it for marketing or advertising.
  • Photographs of your hair, where you have agreed to them being taken. We ask before photographing, and you may decline or withdraw your consent at any time without any effect on your service.

We use the phone number and email address associated with your appointment to send you booking confirmations, appointment reminders, and notice of changes affecting your appointment. These are transactional messages relating to a service you have requested.

Separately, and only where you have opted in, we may send you promotional emails or text messages about offers, events and new products. You can opt out of promotional messages at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email, by replying STOP to a text message, or by contacting us directly. Opting out of promotional messages does not stop appointment confirmations and reminders, because those relate to appointments you have booked. Message and data rates may apply to text messages.

Children's Data

We may send you promotional emails and text messages, and you may opt out of receiving these at any time by using the unsubscribe option displayed in our emails, by replying STOP to a text message, or by contacting us. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional messages, such as those about your account, your orders, or appointments you have booked.
