Blowouts & Roller Sets: What to Expect
What happens at a blowout
Shampoo, conditioner, heat protectant, then a round-brush blow-dry to your look — straight and glossy, bouncy, or soft waves. Your stylist can finish with a curling iron if you like.
What's a roller set?
Hair is set on rollers and dried in place, then brushed out into volume and curl. It's a classic for events and holds up longer than a curling-iron style. Ask about adding a roller set to a blowout.
Make it last
- Sleep on a silk pillowcase with hair in a loose bun or a silk scrunchie
- Dry shampoo at the roots on day two
- Shower cap in the shower; avoid steam
- A light anti-humidity spray in monsoon season
At The Hair Lounge: blowouts are offered by Grace Sasso, Missy Turner and others on the team; our roller set specialist is Grace Sasso.
